New accommodation now available at Tapnell Farm

Tapnell Farm has launched three luxurious new rural retreats, with bookings still available for the school summer holidays.

The dog-friendly self-catering cottages – The Lookout, sleeping four, Poacher's Lodge, sleeping eight, and Stockbridge, sleeping 12 – offer supremely comfortable choices for different mixes of family and friends.

The Lookout (picture below) is an upside-down house with a spacious open-plan living area arranged on the first floor to allow guests uninterrupted views across the meadows to Tennyson Downs. The cottage also features two en-suite bedrooms and a generous garden with a furnished patio. From £350 per night in July and August and £250 per night in autumn, minimum two-night stays

There's bags of room for all the family at Poacher's Lodge (middle picture)which has a large lounge and a kitchen-diner that opens onto a furnished patio and a huge garden with room to romp. There's also a cosy snug with log burner, four bedrooms, one en-suite, and a family bathroom. From £450 per night in July and August and £350 per night in autumn, minimum two-night stay.

Family, friends or a mix of both is possible at Stockbridge (main picture and bottom left), with its open-plan area for cooking, dining and relaxing, furnished patio and large garden. The house has six bedrooms and five bathrooms, including one on the ground floor with full wheelchair access and wet room. The house, which is set on the edge of Tapnell Farm, is available for the summer season only, starting from £1,272 for two nights.

Guests staying in the accommodation can also make the most of all the great facilities on their doorstep, which include the Farm Park, the island's only Football Golf course and Aqua Park, archery, axe-throwing and clay-pigeon shooting, the award-winning restaurant and bar The Cow, and the Farm Shop, which is stocked with delicious local produce.
