All Wight Herd

The Wight Herd

The Cow is located at Tapnell Farm, where there used to be the largest herd of dairy cows on the Isle of Wight!

To celebrate the farm’s heritage, our converted barn is surrounded by the Wight Herd – life size model cows, all painted in colourful, creative designs that reflect many of the Island’s local events, business and people. When you join us for lunch, take a wander round outside and check out the first ever “art herd”!

Feel free to have a wander through our special herd of cows, and soak up the diversity and creativity that makes the Isle of Wight such a special place. See if you can guess the ideas behind the designs (before you read them underneath of course!)
