The Wendy House
Countryside views you'll never tire of
Sleeps 8 (+2 on sofa bed) • Panoramic countryside views • Large fitted kitchen
Perched on the outskirts of Tapnell Farm, the Wendy House is a beautifully presented barn conversion offering peace, quiet and a host of modern comforts. The crowning feature, however, is the view. Here, large windows frame the landscape like a painting and offer gorgeous wraparound views from sunrise to sunset. If stunning scenery is your thing, you won't find a better spot for your rural escape.
Please note that we are letting the Wendy House on behalf of its owners.
Modern comforts meet slow living
The Wendy House is a unique and special country home, not least because of its upside-down layout. The open-plan living space is on the top floor, where those tall, elegant windows drink up every drop of sunlight and our spectacular Island sunsets. While downstairs you'll find three flexible ensuite bedrooms that can be arranged as king or twin rooms.
There's also a fourth sleeping area just off the main living space, featuring a small double sofa bed and ensuite shower room (available on request, surcharge applies).
Whether you're gathering around the dining table, watching the sun rise over the countryside or unwinding after a day exploring the Island, the Wendy House is designed to help you relax and enjoy quality time together.
Your next adventure is right here
Here, you can fill your diary without ever leaving the farm. From the Wendy House, it's a gentle 20-minute walk to our main site, where you'll find our award-winning family restaurant and a host of fun activities. That includes Tapnell Farm Park, where kids can spend hours jumping, playing and meeting cute animals, while adults can enjoy a delicious hot drink from the Coffee House. And the Aqua Park, an exciting outdoor attraction where getting soaked and making happy memories is guaranteed.
Whether you want to fuel up, relax or try something new, you'll find it all right here.
