The Piglets ( East Afton Farm)
Cute, cosy glamping.
Sleeps 2 • Heated all year round • Small dogs allowed (£20 surcharge)
Welcome to The Piglets at East Afton Farm: your own cosy corner of our rural paradise. These former animal arcs have been thoughtfully transformed into romantic 'outdoor rooms for two'. Each is sustainably heated, delightfully homely and surprisingly spacious. Perfect, we think, for those ad-hoc breaks where all you want is fresh air, farmland and unabashed freedom.
Luxury in miniature.
There's something special about living small. Having everything you need and nothing you don't – it feels freeing. Restorative. Quietly revolutionary, even. If you agree, you'll no doubt adore the Piglets. Each is a one-room haven equipped with eco-friendly heating and a few carefully chosen creature comforts. That includes a super-snug double bed, a fridge, solar electricity and WiFi. A few steps away, meanwhile, are four spacious shower rooms within a luxurious converted stable block.
You'll find the Piglets on our neighbouring East Afton Farm, so they're very handy for wedding guests at East Afton Farmhouse. Those seeking romance and rural bliss will find much to love, too. With your own al-fresco space and outdoor seating, you'll be in the prime position to enjoy our countryside views and spectacular Island sunsets.
Food, fun and something new every day.
Staying at the Piglets puts you within a leisurely 30-minute walk (or two-minute drive) of our activities and restaurant. That means you never have to go far to refuel or have fun. Why not meet the animals at Tapnell Farm Park, splash and play in our Aqua Park, or try something new like padel tennis or target shooting?
As for the restaurant, it's one of the Island's favourites. At The Cow, you can sample farm-fresh, locally sourced burgers, giant sharing steaks and delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Or, for a real al-fresco flavour, pick up one of our BBQ hampers and grill up a feast back at base.
Scenery worth exploring.
For those keen to roam, the Isle of Wight promises rich rewards. Climb up to the Tennyson Monument or take the chairlift down The Needles Battery. Spend afternoons paddleboarding, fossil hunting or simply strolling along one of the Island's many country trails. That includes the Tapnell Trail, which runs right by your accommodation.
