Little Lodge
The perfect country retreat for an adventurous couple or two
Sleeps 4 • Open-plan living with private deck • Dog friendly
The name doesn't tell the whole story - Little Lodge is much more spacious than it sounds. With two double bedrooms and lots of living space, this welcoming wooden cabin is perfectly proportioned for up to four guests. When booked for two, it becomes a roomy, romantic hideaway. Just right as a home base for Island excursions. Or as a space to switch off, watch the stars and slow the pace for a while.
Little Lodge is wheelchair-friendly. It has spacious interiors, level access and parking right outside. Please don't hesitate to get in touch for more information.
Open plan, open fields, open diary.
Open countryside and open-plan living are at the heart of Little Lodge. Inside, you'll find a bright, welcoming living space with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa and dining area. Slide open the doors onto your private decking and you'll be greeted by beautiful countryside views stretching towards the Tennyson Monument. For travellers who value freedom and convenience in equal measure, it's the best of both.
Here, the only concern is how fast, slow, near or far you go. Want to spend the day combing the beach, exploring local towns or trying a new activity? You'll be within easy reach of all three. And if you'd rather stay home, fire up the electric BBQ and share burgers as the sun sets, that's just as good!
All the fun of the farm, right where you need it
The beauty of Tapnell Farm is that we've put so much choice on your doorstep. From Little Lodge, it's a hop and skip to our restaurant and attractions. Here, you'll find Tapnell Farm Park (think cute animals and all-weather play), the Aqua Park (bouncy, splashy fun) and a host of other activities that anyone can try.
You'll also be within easy reach of our award-winning family restaurant, The Cow. Or, if you'd rather enjoy a cosy dinner back at base, why not opt for one of our luxury, locally sourced food hampers? At Tapnell Farm, you can do every day your way.
Adventures further afield
If adventure is on the agenda, the Isle of Wight will always deliver. For thrills, there's surfing at Compton Bay, tree climbing in Appley Park and wild swimming at Steephill Cove. For slower-paced adventures, there are quaint towns to roam, trails to conquer and an endless array of independent shops, cafes and eateries. Enough for a lifetime of holidays.
