FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF - THE COW

Full Time Permanent - Immediate Start

We’re looking for a hard-working, confident front of house member, who’s used to a busy restaurant to join our team. The job will include waiting on tables in a specified section, running food & drinks orders as well as side work of polishing cutlery, restocking condiments and completing daily & weekly & monthly cleaning tasks.

We’re a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant doing a large percentage of our trade during school holidays and weekends where we can exceed 600 covers per day, so the successful candidate must be available to work weekends & throughout the month of August.

Chef - The Cow

Immediate Start

Seasonal Position with the opportunity for full time permanent for the right candidate.

We’re looking for a hard-working chef, who’s used to a busy kitchen environment to join our team in the fryer section. The job will include prepping and cooking, maintaining stock levels as well as closing daily and completing daily, weekly & monthly cleaning tasks.

We’re a fast-paced, high volume kitchen doing a large percentage of our trade during school holidays and weekends where we can exceed 600 covers per day, so the successful candidate will be required to work a 5 day week, including both weekend days.

Aqua Guides (Lifeguard)

Isle of Wight Aqua Park are looking for positive, confident individuals to join us for the upcoming season. You will join a team of Aqua Guides working together to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience on the Aqua Park. For the most part you will be stationed on the Aqua Park, ensuring participants are keeping safe by staying within our park rules, and working together to keep track of our customers. From setting up and safety checking the park to ensuring safety kit is hung ready you are an essential part of providing a fantastic experience for our customers.

Due to the nature of this role, you need to:

Be 18 years old.

Be available to work weekends throughout the season.

Have adequate transport in order to get to us for as early as 8:30am or leave as late as 8:30pm.

Attend the Open Water Lifeguard (provided) course on 8th - 11th April and successfully obtain this qualification OR already hold a valid Open Water Lifeguarding Qualification.

Successfuly pass the inhouse Aqua Guide induction running on 19th-20th and 26th-27th April (all 4 days).

Be available at least every other Sunday after close for training.

Be a dynamic team player.

Have the confidence to deliver a clear, rehearsed safety brief to our customers.

Be able to remain calm in pressured situations.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and a passion for watersports, be a natural leader and become an ambassador for Isle of Wight Aqua Park. Hours of Work:

  • Guaranteed minimum of 12 hours per week, (long season averaging around 30 hours per week).
  • Long season = April - end of September with potential of work through October helping us pack down the park.

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: £12.00 to £13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week

  • You can swim 400m without stopping.
  • You are confident in open water.
  • You can confidently submerge underwater.
  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You are available for the 8th-11th April OWL course + 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th April.
