Digital Marketing Manager

Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week

An exciting role has come up for an experienced and proactive person who understands the digital and social media landscape to join our team at Tapnell Farm, the Island’s leading eco-tourism business.

Working with the Marketing Manager, this role involves growing our social media presence, increasing brand awareness and driving engagement across the Tapnell Farm Group of brands, including Tapnell Farm, Tapnell Farm Park, The Cow, Tom’s Eco Lodge, Isle of Wight Aqua Park and East Afton Farmhouse.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing content calendars, creating engaging content, and scheduling posts (organic and sponsored) in line with marketing objectives.

A highly creative person with the ability to produce engaging written and visual content, with experience in photography, videography and graphics.

An in-depth working knowledge of key social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube), experience in analytical data reporting (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) and knowledge of Photoshop is required.

The role includes website content, managing our CMS and creating email marketing campaigns, as well as supporting the implementation of marketing plans.

Digital marketing and social media qualifications, and basic design skills preferred. A knowledge of SEO is also desirable.

  • laundry drop off/collection
  • cleaning log burning tubs/fires

  • keeping outside areas clean & tidy
  • collecting rubbish
  • moving furniture
  • jet washing areas
  • window cleaning
  • minor maintenance i.e changing light bulbs etc
  • upholstery/carpet cleaning
  • collecting deliveries
  • keeping company vehicles clean/tidy
  • wedding set up - tables, chairs and any other props
Due to our location, we would require anyone applying to have their own transport, as there is no suitable public transport.

- Driving license essential

- Immediate start

- Minimum age 25 due to on-site vehicle insurance

This position is approx 25 hours per week. Varies depending on the season.

House Keepers (Accommodation Team)

We are recruiting new members to join our housekeeping team at Tapnell Farm ahead of the season!

As part of the team, you'll be working in the award winning accommodation at the farm, including glamping, cottages and East Afton Farmhouse wedding venue, surrounded by countryside and amazing views.

We pride ourselves on having the highest quality of cleanliness and attention to detail. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, general cleaning duties, such as hoovering, mopping, bed making, bathrooms & kitchens.

We require new members of the team to start at the end of March/early April, but can be flexible to suit the applicant.

Due to our location, we would require anyone applying to have their own transport, as there is no suitable public transport.

FULL TIME KITCHEN ASSISTANT REQUIRED

Situated at the heart of Tapnell Farm in a converted Swiss barn, The Cow champions the finest home-grown and locally sourced produce and is renowned for its delicious award-winning burgers - including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan choices.​​

We are now recruiting for a full-time kitchen assistant to join our existing team. The role will include the following duties:

​•Wash, dry up and store kitchen crockery utensils and equipment

•Washing of kitchen cloths and aprons

• Basic food preparation

• Keeping the general kitchen area clean and tidy

• Changing of bins and general upkeep of the bin store​
