The minimum age is 11 years. Due to the nature of these activities, they are not suitable for young people below that age.
Dress for the weather! Our barn is sheltered but not heated.
Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are mandatory for both activities. For Archery, although arm guards are provided long sleeves are strongly advised for added protection.
Both Archery and Axe throw are physically demanding activities. We have developed the sessions and infrastructure to be as inclusive as possible, so come and give it a try!
Both activities are 50 minutes in duration. This includes a safety briefing and instructor led demonstrations.

The Cow Restaurant is a short walk from the ranges, where you can grab a coffee. The Cow also serves a range of tasty burgers, that are a perfect fit for hungry archers!! Please check opening times.
Our ranges have been built right next door to the Aqua Park, where there are basic toilet facilities for you to use.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, obviously they need to be restrained throughout the session. If they do cause disruption you may be asked to remove them.
For a 50 minute session, including equipment and tuition, it’s £15 (minimum age is 11 years).
