Get set for the big day as you decorate, craft, create and celebrate your way through our magical Christmas woodland village before the main event, meeting Santa himself.

Our Events Barn will be transformed into a quintessentially Christmas winter woodland village, with twinkling lights, snow-dusted trees, cheeky characters, a sleigh fit for Santa, and more!

Discover magical scenes, join our elf’s workshop, decorate sweet treats, mix together your own reindeer food, and soak up festive cheer at every turn before the highlight of your adventure, a heart-warming visit with Santa.

What’s included

Enjoy 35 minutes of festive filled activities to choose from:

Gingerbread Baking Co.

The smell of cinnamon and sugar fills the air as you decorate your own festive treat to take home for Santa (or eat on the spot!).

Reindeer Refuelling Station

Mix together your very own magical reindeer food, ready to sprinkle outside on Christmas Eve. Take it home and leave it out for Rudolph and his friends to help guide Santa’s sleigh to your house!

Visit the Stables

Say hello to our furry friends and capture festive memories along the way.

Elf’s Workshop

Step into the elf’s workshop to get crafty and create your own Christmas decoration to take home and treasure.

Santa’s Sleigh

Climb aboard for the perfect festive photo moment. Props provided for extra fun! Feel the magic as you imagine soaring through the night sky on Christmas Eve.

Naughty & Nice

Will you make Santa’s Nice List, or will the elves spot a little mischief? Step up to the magical machine and discover your fate…

Meet Santa & Mrs Claus

The highlight of your adventure! Step into Santa’s cosy home, where he’ll be joined by Mrs Claus. Share your Christmas wishes together, capture a magical family moment, and receive a gift to take home.

The Jingle Bale Play

Your ticket also includes all-day access to our festive straw bale play – the perfect spot to climb, explore and let imaginations run wild.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How do I book tickets?

All tickets must be booked online in advance. Walk-ins are not available.

2. Can I just turn up on the day without booking?

No, this is a pre-booked event only. To avoid disappointment, please book online before you visit.

3. When is Christmas at Tapnell running?

On selected dates: 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 22nd & 23rd December.

4. Why aren’t there any sessions on Christmas Eve?

Christmas Eve is Santa’s busiest night of the year so he’ll be flying around the world delivering presents! That’s why all our activities are designed to help you get ready for the big night in advance. From making reindeer food to decorating treats, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy a magical Christmas Eve at home.

5. What are the session times?

Sessions run between 9:30 am – 5:30 pm (9.30am SEN session, only bookable via telephone).

6. How long does the experience last?

Each Christmas session lasts around 35 minutes.

7. What are the ticket prices?

£17.50 per child (includes a gift)

8. Is Farm Park entry included?

No, this year tickets are just for the Christmas experience. Farm Park entry is separate. But free if you are a Winter Season Pass holder as always!

9. Do children get a gift?

Yes, every child ticket includes a toy gift from Santa. Our under 2s ticket does not include a toy from Santa. If you have selected a free under 2s ticket but would like a gift, please select the under 2s gift ticket option.

10. Can I get a photo with Santa?

Yes! Families are welcome to take their own photos during the meet-and-greet with Santa, so don’t forget your camera or phone.

11. What’s included in the experience?

Magical activities such as Gingerbread Making Co, Reindeer Refuelling Station, Visit the Stables, Elf’s Workshop, Santa’s Sleigh photo opportunity, The Naughty & Nice Machine, and a visit with Santa including a gift. All activities are optional, you’re welcome to spend the whole time on one activity but you’ll have 30 minutes to explore and play.

12. Is the straw bale play included?

Yes! Tickets include all-day access to The Jingle Bale Play, our festive straw bale play zone.
