All Weather Event Badge
1st-24th December 2023

The Island's award-winning Christmas event returns for 2023 with new characters and adventures!

1st - 24th December (selected dates)

Join us for another magical immersive journey with even more enchantment and magic than ever before!

Set your compass North as you embark on a Christmas adventure like no other. This award-winning immersive experience will leave you and the family full of Christmas magic as you set off on your travels, meeting the most fun-loving, memorable characters along the way.

With Christmas fast approaching and the clock ever ticking down to the big day, there seems to be a glitch with the North Pole Elves not receiving mail, and without this, the question on everyone’s lips is ... how does Santa know who would like what for Christmas?!

Sonny the Snowman is Santa’s most reliable postmaster, but with no mail and no Sonny in sight, panic at the North Pole has set in, something’s not quite right ...

Santa has now called on the children who send their annual Christmas letters to help him track down the mail, find Sonny and save Christmas in time!

Session times & tickets

Tickets for Christmas at Tapnell are available for day time sessions when the Farm Park is open, plus some evening sessions.

All tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Day time sessions are a combined ticket with Christmas Experience and Farm Park Admission Online. Once you have purchased this, you do not need to book your admission to the Farm Park, just show your booking confirmation as proof of entry to the Farm Park.

Farm Park admission is free with a Winter Season Pass, but Winter Season Pass holders still need to purchase tickets for the Christmas Experience online - under the Winter Season Pass ticket options.

Evening sessions are stand alone events which take place when the Farm Park is closed. There is a special entrance, signposted from the car park.

If you are coming to an evening session, you do not need to buy Farm Park admission so please book the 'Christmas Experience no Park Entry' ticket.

Refreshments
- Enjoy hot drinks and seasonal snacks whatever time you visit. Please note that on dates/evenings when the Farm Park is closed you will still be able to purchase refreshments when visiting the Christmas Experience.

The event in more detail ...

Tapnell Farm Park's Christmas Experience starts at home with a letter* from Santa, who is writing to children, inviting them to come and help! (And eventually, meet Santa!)

A new fantastical Christmas journey awaits children and their families this year. The 45-minute experience will fully immerse you in the wonderment of Christmas. There will be storytelling and interactive puzzles to solve, plus lots of amazing scenery too.

The Christmas Experience is designed for children from 2 years to 100, as there is something for everyone. At the end of your adventure, you will meet Santa himself, who knows a lot more about you than you think, and he can’t wait to meet you all and thank you for helping!

We will ask for more details at the online checkout to help Santa surprise your kids!

* The letter can be downloaded and printed at home, via a link below (also in the booking confirmation email).

Letters are not personalised, but can easily be written on and posted to children by an adult.

Accessibility:

Whilst we aim to make the Christmas experience enjoyable and accessible for everyone, it is with regret that due to the nature of the event and layout of the experience, we are unable to accommodate mobility scooters due to their size.

The route is accessible by wheelchair and where possible we have made the necessary accommodations, such as adding ramps and removing woodchip. We strongly recommend that you have someone in your group who is able to push a wheelchair around the experience.

Christmas in the Farm Park

This year, the park will be beautifully decorated to welcome in the festive season, including the return of our famous giant Christmas Tree (we're not sure if we will trust Smudge the Elf with that one again).

The Coffee House will also be serving delicious festive treats, and there will be festive music too!

Seasonal shopping discounts for Winter Season Pass holders will be available in our Farm Park Shop (on selected dates - keep an eye on newsletters). The shop will also be stocked to the rafters with great gifting ideas for all ages.
