Wightlink Sea Cow

Wightlink Wight herd

Who Are They?

Wightlink are one of the Isle of Wight’s main ferry operators, carrying almost 5 million passengers every year! They run three different routes on a variety of different vessels, and make just under 48,000 sailings every year. They also support a variety of Island communities by sponsoring events, helping out with regeneration projects, and more.

What's the idea behind the cow?

In the spring of 2015 Wightlink ran a colouring competition on board their ferries, inviting their younger passengers to design a cow for #TheHerd. The lucky winner was Kiki Couchman, from London, and her design was transferred onto one of our cows – it features lots of things the Isle of Wight is famous for!
