Who Are They?

Level 42 are an Isle of Wight rock band who had a series of global hit records in the 1980s and 1990s, including their most successful single was “Lessons in Love” which reached number 3 in the UK charts. Led by bass player and frontman Mark King, who is known for his distinctive “slap-bass” guitar playing style, they still regularly tour the globe playing gigs and festivals – including the Island’s very own Bestival!

With so much history and success behind them, the band have a lot of stories to tell. So for their cow we decided to create a Level 42 scrapbook featuring album covers, posters, backstage passes, and of course some of Mark King’s signature bass guitars.
