Who Are They?

Built in the ruins of an old Victorian fort, the Isle of Wight Zoo is a family-run zoo, with a special interest in tigers and lemurs. The zoo faces of one of the Island’s most popular stretches of sandy beach at Sandown Bay

What's the idea behind the cow?

The zoo is famous for looking after and conserving tigers, and not so many years ago used to walk their tiger cubs along Sandown beach for exercise! So their design was always going to end up stripey!
