Welcome to Tapnell Farm!

Check-In will be available from 4pm. 
Please let us know when you plan to arrive so we can ensure everything is ready, especially if you would like to arrive earlier. There is no need to 'officially' check in, you should have everything you need, and if you are arriving late we will make sure the lights and heating are on. If you have any questions, please head over to The Hub Guest Reception or call 01983 758729

All your holiday essentials will be available for you, including linen & towels, first aid kit, logs, firelighters, charcoal, crockery & utensils, matches, basic toiletries, blankets and torches (excluding Camp Tapnell).

Don’t forget to bring your wellies, warm clothes for winter evenings around the fire, torches, food and most importantly yourselves!

Come prepared for the summer!
In the summer months we can experience high levels of mosquitoes, midges and insects in the countryside. You may like to bring repellent with you, or there is some available to purchase in our Farm Shop. Each accommodation unit has plug in repellents which helps as well.

As well as all the excellent activities on-site, the Island is packed with places to visit!

Dogs: Please clean up after your dogs as we have children playing in grassy areas. You can dispose of dog waste in bags into the general waste biffa bin or dog poo bins on site. Please keep dogs on the lead around accommodation

Laundry: Unfortunately there are no laundry cleaning facilities in the tents or pods. Please feel free to hang towels out to dry etc. If your child is likely to wet the bed (we understand these accidents do happen!) please remember to bring provisions with you (perhaps an extra sheet) We do have protective sheets on the bunk beds and 'cubby bed'.

Wifi: All of the accommodation and the restaurant has free wifi- please see your Welcome booklet in your accommodation for individual log in details.

Pizza Oven: Please feel free to use the pizza oven in the communal area. You can find some 'how to' instructions next to the oven and ingredients in our farm shop

Checking out: (not that you want to think about this right now! but it is very important to remember...) Please check out of your accommodation by 10am on the morning of your departure (unless otherwise agreed). This allows us time to clean ready for the next guests. If you are leaving the evening before please empty your bins and shut the lodge up (Or Mr Fox will be lodging too!)

Please leave your accommodation as you found it, we have a small cleaning team and we appreciate your care.
